The La Brea Tar Pitts were interesting. Ioannis, Shannon and I were there a few weeks ago, exploring the LACMA museums. Vivid color, famous art staring me in the face, overwhelming, introspective, smoking in the parking lot, dancing in the giant glass elevator, bubbling tar, a pet convention, the giant blue balloon animal dog, little pieces of paper in my hand, history. Quite an adventure.
